The house is small and dark. There is quite a bit of deferred maintenance. Shower door in one bathroom wouldn’t close, electrical outlets need to be replaced (plugs fall out of outlets), some lights don’t work, hot tub jets didn’t work properly.

We were at Black Butte Ranch for a wedding and visited several other rentals that other guests were staying at. The other rentals were much larger (4 BRs) and much nicer and not much more expensive than the small, dark, tired house we rented. Very disappointed in this rental.

Cozy little cabin that was very peaceful and had wonderful wildlife outside at all times. The deck with a hot tub & BBQ was a great bonus to the house plus some games & movies inside to pick from for easy entertainment The stairs to get up to the loft were extremely steep so not ideal for little kids. Beautiful location!

The cabin was very cozy and while the space is intimate, it’s perfectly sized for a couple’s getaway.

Finding the spot can be a bit of a puzzle. A quick tip for future guests: look for Cabin #7. While there is an address sign outside, it’s quite difficult to spot from the road, so having that specific unit number ahead of time would be very helpful.

The hot tub was easily the best part of the stay! We spent our mornings and evenings soaking in the water—it was pure bliss. The fire pit was also wonderful for an evening of wine and rest.

As other reviews mentioned, the stairs to the loft sleeping area are quite steep. They are manageable, but you definitely want to take your time on them.

The shower was very compact; we’re on the smaller side so we managed just fine, but it’s something to keep in mind if you prefer a bit more elbow room.

Overall, a lovely, quiet escape!

Avari Management Oregon was extremely easy to work with and had the best communication updates before, during, and after my stay. They were also very responsive to all of my questions throughout my stay. I would highly recommend any property listings with Avari Management Oregon.

The cabin is cute and cozy. I agree with some of the previous reviews— such as having a book/binder for a reference guide. Also, bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper as the floor is pretty creeky.
The space worked well for us and our 11 & 7 year old. They loved the steep stairs to their loft and spent a lot of time shooting hoops/using the tree swing. The Xbox was a bonus for down time. We loved the deck and spent a lot of time at the fire pit and using the (very clean) hot tub.
(It would have been cool to have a leaf blower on hand for the deck as there were tons of pine needles all over everything.)
We were within close enough proximity to a park and the family activity center to bike ride there and back.
We would definitely go again!
