After a day spent at the Oregon Coast Aquarium across the bridge or wandering through Newport's bayfront attractions, you'll appreciate being able to come home to your comfortable, well-stocked condo at the Embarcadero. Lounge on the sofa to talk about the day or watch a DVD on the TV sharing a big bowl of popcorn. From the living room, you'll also have beautiful bay views - if it's nice out, you'll want to enjoy the stunning view right from your deck. Check your email with the free WiFi as you relax in the deck with a morning cup of coffee. Meals can easily be prepared in the cute, tiled full kitchen - there's even a dishwasher so you won't have to spend valuable vacation time scrubbing pots and pans. Of course, you're also just steps away from a number of Newport's best eateries. You can pick up a wood-fired pizza at Panini's bayfront location, snack on fresh fish tacos at Local Ocean Seafoods, or have pints of Dead Guy ale and Brutal Reuben sandwiches at Rogue Ales Public House. When it's time for bed, the two bedrooms offer a king and queen bed, with a sofabed in the living room. From the king bedroom, you'll even have a gorgeous Yaquina Bay view. And don't forget the dogs! Up to two dogs are welcome here with a small nightly fee. And now for the best part - those wonderful amenities! This Oregon Coast vacation rental has a sauna and a private crabbing/fishing dock. There are sun decks for enjoying a clear day at the coast and from almost any location you'll be rewarded with lovely water views! This great Newport location also offers a lot of variety. You can walk along Bay Boulevard, browsing galleries or walk a bit north through town to the artsy Nye Beach area. Spend rainy days at the Oregon Coast Aquarium, then make the short drive south along Highway 101 to explore tide pools at Seal Rock State Wayside during a sun break. Right nearby there's also hiking and biking opportunities - one of the most notable being Yaquina Head Outstanding National Area. You can take a deep sea fishing excursion through Newport Tradewinds, located right along the bayfront. Or, go razor clamming on Newport's Agate Beach or beachcombing at Beverly Beach. One thing is for sure, at this Central Oregon Coast vacation rental you will never run out of things to do! Even on rainy days, you can watch a storm over the water right from your living room windows. *Wood stove is not available for guest use.

the condo isnt too fancy to feel comfortable using things, which takes away some worry when you have a group. the downstairs could still use some updates, although the recliners were recovered since our last visit, they still arent very comfortable. glad to see the stove was replaced. bedroom downstairs needs some work, including a new mattress and removal of carpet to match the rest. the upstairs looks great after remivations, which apparently is what impacted our last reservation at the last minute. we stay every year, and will be back. it was just my husband and myself this time, so we just stayed downstairs.

Our small family loved this two bedroom unit. Terrific location right on the water at historic bayfront, easy walk to restaurants, shops, and services. Two-story layout is great, provides two decks overlooking the bay. There have been updates to the master bathroom as well as to the kitchen, even better than the preview photos, which should be updated to reflect the improvements. Onsite amenities are great- -nice pool, hot tub, even saunas within each locker room. If you're in to it, you can even catch crab off the dock and cook your crab in cookers provided. Really nice experience, we'd stay again!
