The room was clean on arrival and check-in was easy. The Embarcadero is in a nice location. We love the decor of this unit. We noted that the walls are very thin (something beyond management control). We did have a few nitpicky items that we reported to management (and they seemed receptive): the bathtub drips and drain is slow; the chest of drawers in the bedroom and bathroom were stuffed full of extra bedding and towels, leaving only the bedside tables for storing our clothes. There was one hanger in the closet. The bed pillows seriously need replacing and bed sheets could use an upgrade. Cookware was sub-standard (scratched/worn). One positive thing we noted was that the chairs in the living room that some previous guests had complained about have been replaced with nice leather chairs. Perhaps more upgrades are on the horizon. This condo could be a real gem with some attention to issues.

The unit was clean on arrival and there were no serious issues. There were some nitpicky items: the bathtub faucet dripped, almost all of the drawers in the chest in the bedroom and in the bathroom were full of extra bedding or towels, leaving the bedside tables the only drawers to store clothing in. There was one hanger in the closet. The bed pillows seriously need to be replaced, and the sheets could use an upgrade. Cookware is sub-standard/scratched & worn. The couch could stand to be replaced or have a slipcover to hide the worn spots. We did advise the management team about these issues, and they seemed receptive. The Embarcadero is in a nice location, and we had a good time. This condo could be a real gem if these issues were attended to. The chairs that previous guests had issues with in the living room have been replaced with nice leather chairs, so perhaps other upgrades are soon to be made. We love the decor. The walls are quite thin, which unfortunately management can't do anything about.

Great stay right on the bay in Newport! The location was beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We really enjoyed the views and had a great experience overall. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were hoping for. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
