Overview

Tucked into a grove of trees on the quiet, north side of Manzanita, this lovely home will place you just four short blocks from the beach and the Pacific Ocean.

This three-bedroom home is a walker's delight, with the beach (four blocks) and downtown Manzanita's shops, bakeries, restaurants, and markets (one mile) all within strolling distance. To cap your daily excursions, you'll have a peaceful back deck where you can relax in the shade, dine alfresco, and breathe in the fresh ocean air at golden hour.

The interior is full of character, thanks to wood-paneled walls, plentiful windows, and a woodstove at the heart of the living area. One of the best features of the house is the variety of spaces in which to curl up and relax, including a main living room, a rear sunroom, and a family room in the second-floor landing with a 50-inch smart TV, a DVD player, and access to a balcony.

Prepare homemade dinners in the well-equipped kitchen, sit down to enjoy them at the dining room table, and linger afterwards to play a family board game. If you're hoping to fit in any remote work, the desk nook in the hallway and the table in the sunroom offer great spots to log onto the free WiFi. When it's time to turn in for the evening, you'll find two bedrooms on the main floor and a primary suite with its own bathroom upstairs. Driveway parking is available as well.

This was a good place for our group of 6 (us, 2 kiddos and grandparents). We had enough space to spread out without being either cramped or two far apart. The large dining table easily accommodated us. The listing strangely had "heating" under the not-included section but the house had both wall heaters and a working fireplace, so no issues there, it was nice and cozy. The beach was a short walk away. Something that wasn't a problem for us but might be a consideration for others is that the home is on an incline, with many steps both to get to the front door, and then within the multi-level house itself. The beach was a short walk away. No issues with communication with the host. House was a great value. We'd definitely stay again!

Great

It was in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to a beach that felt pretty private. The house was perfect for what we needed and location was perfect near a lot of different beaches and hikes.

We stayed here during Hood to Coast and it was the perfect spot for the team to relax and recharge! Ample space for multiple people, a beautiful house and lots of parking. Would recommend this spot to anyone.
