Tucked into a grove of trees on the quiet, north side of Manzanita, this lovely home will place you just four short blocks from the beach and the Pacific Ocean.

This three-bedroom home is a walker's delight, with the beach (four blocks) and downtown Manzanita's shops, bakeries, restaurants, and markets (one mile) all within strolling distance. To cap your daily excursions, you'll have a peaceful back deck where you can relax in the shade, dine alfresco, and breathe in the fresh ocean air at golden hour.

The interior is full of character, thanks to wood-paneled walls, plentiful windows, and a woodstove at the heart of the living area. One of the best features of the house is the variety of spaces in which to curl up and relax, including a main living room, a rear sunroom, and a family room in the second-floor landing with a 50-inch smart TV, a DVD player, and access to a balcony.

Prepare homemade dinners in the well-equipped kitchen, sit down to enjoy them at the dining room table, and linger afterwards to play a family board game. If you're hoping to fit in any remote work, the desk nook in the hallway and the table in the sunroom offer great spots to log onto the free WiFi. When it's time to turn in for the evening, you'll find two bedrooms on the main floor and a primary suite with its own bathroom upstairs. Driveway parking is available as well.

Cute partially updated home. The kitchen was well stocked, lots of space for the family, outdoor space was peaceful, beds were comfortable, and beach was walkable (though it’s a steep one). Downtown was a very short drive, and it was a quiet neighborhood.

Downsides: creaky sleeper couch (in couch form) downstairs loud enough to wake people, limited sound proofing between rooms so you hear people moving around, a few kitchen cabinet doors had damage that needed to be used with care, and the cleaners left behind a lot of cobwebs and some other issues (Avari said they’d address with the cleaners).

Overall, we had a fantastic time, and don’t regret staying here! It was a good value, and we were thankful for a long family weekend there!

Kitchen was outfitted with everything you might need. Beautiful solid wood dining table, great for playing cards or spreading out the Sunday paper. It was just me and my wife, but it seems like a fantastic multi generation vacation house.

This place was a perfect home for my friends and I celebrating my birthday. Just a 10ish minute walk down to the beach. Very Comfortable.. Will stay again!
