Overview

Tucked away among the pines on a peaceful acre of land, this woodland lodge makes a wonderful home base for your explorations of the Deschutes River, Mt. Bachelor, and the other beauties of Central Oregon.

This home sits within a short walk of a dock on the banks of the Deschutes, allowing you to easily go kayaking, tubing, or fishing. You'll also be close to the slopes of Mt. Bachelor, the Cascade Lakes National Scenic Byway, downtown Bend, and world-class golf courses in every direction.

After a day spent on the river or a nearby trail, come home to enjoy the lovely outdoor space by taking an afternoon nap in one of the hammocks, reading on the upstairs balcony, or lighting the gas grill on the deck for a sunset barbecue in the fresh pine air.

The interior living space is perfect for cozy nights spent at home, whether you're preparing dessert in the well-appointed kitchen, gathering around the dining room table for board games, or streaming movies in the warmth of the woodstove (logs are provided for your convenience). Of the three bedrooms, one is a primary suite upstairs with its own desk workspace, and balcony for your morning coffee at sunrise.

Nice place more like a cabin in the woods but inside is still homey feeling I work day time so night time was cool and was spent outside on the patio grilling !

Close to everything sunriver has to offer without the hangups! QUIET and super cozy…great for families or just a couple…Kitchen is awesome and right next to all the living areas…WONDERFUL HUGE table for eating, crafting, puzzles, fly tying, games or ANYTHING!

The house looked small in the photos but was big enough for 3 adults. We could have had a couple more people and still could have stayed comfortably. The area was pretty quiet and we rarely saw cars drive by. Sunriver Resort and The Village are just 2-3 miles away, so we enjoyed walking/biking the area.

We enjoyed a lovely summer weekend in this cozy home. The area was so peaceful, it felt like the perfect nature getaway. We even had adorable visitors, a doe and her two fawns hung out in the back yard. This place has everything you need, including books and games to keep you entertained and off your devices. The home stayed cool with recommended tips, no AC needed when done right! Can’t wait to go back!
