Places to Visit During Your Stay
Waldport is just two miles to the south via Highway 101. There you will find several dining options, necessities, and more. Head over to the Crestview Golf Club and get in a round of golf, or grab a bite to eat at the Greenside Restaurant. The Cape Perpetua Visitor Center is 13 miles to the south, where you can do a little hiking and take in the spectacular views of the coastline.

We loved the layout of the house. Beach access right out the back door was great, little hilly, but doable. Open space inside, very comfortable master suite setup.

The hot tub lacks privacy.

On the plus side, we were offered early entry. We couldn’t get the house fan to turn on, and it was stuffy even with open windows, but we were there mid summer. Avari can’t control the weather, after all. The kitchen is one of the better stocked that I’ve rented. There were good pots and pans, lots of utensils, and a pretty full spice cabinet.

To all the reviews complaining about beach access: three doors down is the Bay Shore Beaxh Club- they have a wide, relatively flat beach access path from their parking area.

We had a great time with our family. Waldport is a fun little town and we enjoyed ecploring the local businesses and the beach.

We had a great stay in Waldport - this house was perfect for a large group and family gatherings. There was plenty of space, convenient beach access, and it was easy to get to nearby towns like Newport, Yachats, and Florence. The house was well-stocked with everything that we needed.
