Sitting slightly above the Pacific, this home offers amazing ocean views from the deck and newly installed hot tub, living room and master bedroom. From the back deck, guests can relax and grill up some delicious local seafood - then move on to cooking s'mores on the firepit. Public access to the beach is nearby, so miles of gorgeous coastline is only a quick walk away.

The home is located just across the highway from Ocean Beaches Glassblowing & Gallery, which demonstrates the art of glassblowing every afternoon. The Wood Carving Outlet and Seal Rock Espresso & Bakery are just a short walk further south. Seal Rock State Recreation Site, home to Oregon's famous tidepools and sea lions, is just over a half mile from the house. The charming city of Newport, with its bustling bayfront, great shops, restaurants, and breweries, is only 10 miles north on Hwy 101.

This was a lovely house at the beach! Excellent deck overlooking the ocean. Great hot tub. Cozy campfire spot. The house had tons of character which makes the stay more fun!

A lot of space, private, comfortable, not a lot of frills, needs a deep clean and some updates but not a deal breaker

The house was comfortable and spread out so it offered separate spaces to spend time.. The deck is new and had a great view of the ocean.
The house felt private and secluded.
The beds were soooo comfortable!
There are several tree snags next to the house and several(4 at one point) bald eagles and other birds would rest on the branches. So awesome to watch them!
The hot tub is in great condition and felt clean and taken care of.

The dining table was very unstable and had a sticky film. Needs to be refinished or replaced.
The grounds are very overgrown and untidy. Didn’t really matter much to us but some may find it unpleasant.
There is a thick layer of dust behind/under all the furniture, making it feel like the house is only surface clean.
When we checked in we found a disposable child’s drink container, squishy toy, loose beads and dried up pieces of food under the coffee table and couch. The living room windows had child’s smeary hand prints.
Booking.com is not very responsive to issues. The app said “pick up keys at property” and they did not respond to my message asking where the keys would be. Luckily I had rechecked the email they sent and it included a door code(so very confusing between app and email instructions).

Clean. Lots of towels. Some confusion on house address. Wifi access required leaving property to make 2 calls to mgmt. Hot tub was nice.
