IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The interior stair cases are closed off and blocked however you do have two exterior stair cases that can be used.
CHECK-IN: Since check-in is not until 4 PM CST, you are more than welcome to go ahead and head into the property, Gulf Place, to enjoy the pools and beach while you wait for your condo to be ready!
PARKING: It is first-come, first-serve parking in Gulf Place. No parking passes are required. No boats, trailers, RVs, or jet skis.
DIRECTIONS TO UNIT: This unit is located in the tan building with red shutters, named Caribbean. The elevator is located in the middle of the building.
AIR CONDITIONING: Please do not leave any balcony doors open while running the AC. This will cause damage to the AC! It will freeze up and stop working.
BEACH SERVICE: BEACH SERVICE IS NOT INCLUDED.
BEACH ACCESS AND BEACH CHAIR/UMBRELLA VENDOR: 30A Shade is the closest vendor located at Gulf Place private beach access located between the Costa Blanca and the Villas of Santa Rosa Beach buildings closest to the Ed Walline Public Beach entrance. The other two Gulf Place boardwalks located across from the Caribbean building, the Cabanas building are simply easements to get to the beach. 30A Shade can be reached at 850-687-5008 or visit 30ashadebeachservice.com. If you are on the public beach access, Ed Walline, you can get beach chairs and umbrellas at waltoncountychairs.com or 850-233-0914 who is the main vendor for the public beach access for all Walton County Public Beach Accesses. Beach service through these vendors is seasonal typically from March 1 through October 31 please check with your vendor of choice.
SUPPLIES: You will receive a starter pack of 2 trash bags in the kitchen trash can, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towel, 1 laundry soap, 3 dishwasher pods, 1 bottle of liquid dish soap, and 1 sponge. In each bathroom, you will have 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, and 1 bar of soap. You will be responsible for any extra supplies needed during your stay.
BIKE/LSV RULES: Gulf Place Community does not have Charging Stations for Cars or LSV's 1. All rental bikes and LSV's must be clearly marked with the date delivered, unit number, company name and contact phone number for the provider. 2. All bikes, including privately owned bikes, must be stored in a bike rack, or taken inside units. Bikes not properly stored may be picked up and removed with no additional notice. 3. Bikes or LSV's may not be left indefinitely as part of a rental package and must be picked up no later than 24 hours after current guests check out.
TRASH: The dumpster is located at the back of the parking lot.
POOLS: There are 3 Gulf Place Community Pools - Cabanas pool is heated seasonally. The courtyard's pool is not heated. The Caribbean pool is heated seasonally.
TENNIS COURTS: Are on a first come first serve basis. The tennis courts will be under renovations until the end of May.
WIFI/SERVICE: Please note, due to high occupancy along 30A and an overload within the South Walton county system broadband, you may experience sporadic outages or poor connections. This is most likely due to capacity in the county. Please feel free to reset the modem if you feel it is specific to the unit. We recommend using fewer devices to assist with this.
