I love Gulf Place and the Cabanas due to its location and private access to the beach right across the street. This was my first time staying in this unit and it could use some updating. The bathroom faucets need replaced due to mold and dishwasher wouldn’t shut.

The condo was clean and as described but there were a few things that could have been better. There were no throws or blankets other than the thin ones for the bed & the weather was chilly so it would have been helpful to have throws for sitting on the deck (I used my beach towel). There were 5 remotes near the TV in the living room - yet I couldn’t get it to work for streaming & had to watch in the bedroom - which was not ideal. I also would’ve liked a way to lock myself in. I did not feel secure (especially traveling alone) without an inside lock & felt as if anybody who had the code could get in from the outside. The sliding glass doors to the balcony did not lock either. Being at the condo was on the fourth floor that wasn’t so much of an issue but still would’ve made me feel more secure. I had zero luck getting in WiFi unit 407 never even popped up as an option.

Location was perfect, easy check-in. Cleaning crew didn’t do a very good job. Moldy coffee left in coffee maker, molded shower curtains, pet/human hair on furniture and bedding.

We loved the condo and the area, Gulfplace is very walkable and we didn’t have to leave the complex for anything. The beach access is amazing and the pool was heated and clean. Overall, an excellent experience for our family. We will be back!
