The property at plantation east is well kept up and enjoyed all the palm trees, adult pool, hot tub and indoor pool.

The condo was very clean. The queen size bed was very comfy. Condo has two kinds of coffee pots. Good water pressure in the shower.

The location of this condo is the biggest selling point for picking it. It was very quiet, with the dunes on one side and the gulf view from the balcony was beautiful. It is close to two pools and the boardwalk to the beach. It looks a bit older on the inside, but was adequate for two people. The chairs on the balcony aren’t particularly comfortable and could have maybe used a cushion or two. Would have liked to have had a hair dryer or at least a note to bring my own. I think this is the first place I have ever rented that didn’t have at least a basic hair dryer. There was a coffee pot but no filters so we bought some and left them for the next guests. The tub drained very poorly and while the water pressure was pretty strong, the hot water didn’t last more than one shower. The bedroom could use a little work. It is a good size with night tables on either side of the bed. The sheet was like a hospital sheet. There were adequate pillow and the bed was comfortable. The biggest issue is the room does not get pitch black dark ever - not even in the middle of the night. There is a window over the bed to the hallway and the light is always on so it casts light in the room all night. It would be great to have some blackout curtains over both windows in the bedroom to make it dark. You can’t put the thermostat lower than 70 or the unit may freeze up as noted on the thermostat. That proved to be pretty warm at night. It would have been nice to at least have a ceiling fan in the bedroom with the limitation to making it cooler at night. Overall, the condo was clean; the view and location was top notch; and there was a decent amount of space for a couple or maybe even a small family. I would definitely stay there again, but blackout curtains and a fan in the bedroom would elevate this condo for sure. The cost was reasonable and another big selling point for this stay.
