You won't get much closer to beautiful Alabama beaches than this Gulf Shores condo, a Gulf-front retreat with a private balcony that faces the water, direct access to the sand, and fantastic resort-style amenities that include indoor/outdoor pools, hot tubs, a gym, tennis courts, and more! This condo sits on the seventh floor of Plantation Palms, a beachfront complex within the confines of Gulf Shores Plantation on the Fort Morgan Peninsula. You'll find tile floors and multiple flat-screen TVs and DVD players inside the condo; outside, you'll be just across a boardwalk from white sugar sand (with seasonal beach service) and a short car ride from Kiva Dunes Golf Course, Gulf State Park, and the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo. Things to know: The parking fee for this vacation rental is $35. Instructions for purchasing the required parking pass will be included in your confirmation email. Only valid service animals will be allowed that are registered/checked-in with security at arrival, but if a service animal is causing an issue such as barking (other than a medical emergency), not on leash and properly controlled, seen as aggressive or approaching others, or defecating in any way in the common grounds areas, they will be evicted. The Palms building hot tub opens September 16 - May 14 and will be closed May 15 - September 15. Guests will have access to six outdoor pools & two outdoor hot tubs on the Gulf Shores Plantation grounds plus one indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna. Access to resort amenities and parking areas may be limited.

Our 3rd time at Plantation Palms out of an estimated 9 trips to the area in the last 3yrs and maybe our favorite condo so far. A perfect direct view of the gulf but being located on the end with plenty of space from the next building it was quiet with no parking lot or pool noise, and we never heard any neighbors we surely had on a busy week. Even both private balconies in the bedrooms on either end had little noise but still wonderful views. The condo was clean, very spacious, and was well stocked with towels and in the kitchen as far as any cookware/utensil/extra needs. The addition of black out curtains in the middle room, a fan in another, and a separate set of linens for the DOUBLE pull out couch were very welcomed surprises that aren’t typical in most of our travels. The garbage shoot being a few doors down was really convenient and used often so the quick walk was great. If you’re traveling with kids this is perfect as there aren’t breakable decorations and flimsy furniture in every nook, cranny, and space so that took away a lot of the stress of constantly watching littles like a hawk. We’ve definitely added 6712 to our go to list for future trips and appreciate a peaceful, comfortable, and clean stay!

I liked having a full balcony facing the Gulf. The condo was fairly clean, although I think they need to mop the floors more often. Nicely furnished and lots of room.
