Top floor condo with panoramic gulf and bay views and beach gear

The room was wonderful. I loved that it had carpet! Everything you needed for the perfect beach day was there too…from the umbrellas to the wagon!
I had thought this was a full front ocean view, but it is not. This is on the side of the unit. You can see the bay and the ocean from this view. The bedroom with the twin beds didn’t seem to get any air to it…it was always warm. So I would suggest to bring a fan.

The condo itself was lovely. First, the view, top tier! Worth booking for that. The condo had everything you need to stay and not need to leave. Bedding was comfortable, space was clean and kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. There was even a cart to take your items to the beach and an umbrella for the sun, if you needed it. The only notes we had about the condo itself was that it was all carpet, which is a little odd with the sand and the fact that it is a rental - but it did seem clean. The railing of the balcony needs attention - paint is chipping pretty good, but you can see that from the photos. As far as the building and the property goes - that made it seem a little low end. There was only one elevator working - and from what we heard, it’s been that way for quite some time. But we typically didn’t have to wait long. We would have taken the stairs, but it was on the 8th floor. That did come into play when there was a fire emergency in the building and everyone had to evacuate by the stairs - so keep that in mind. The whole top floor smells pretty strong of some kind of chemical. The linoleum flooring? The pool, sport courts and outdoor bar at the ground floor were all in need of renovation and care - but landscaping kept up. There was what looked like throw up in the middle of the main lobby for at least 4 hours with a caution sign over it, even with all the people and firemen going through there, it was not addressed. But all overall - our stay was good.
