The serene complex offers two seasonal pools, pickleball court, tennis courts, and basketball, plus kayak storage. Your updated retreat features a private deck, along with a kitchen that home chefs will love. Nearby hiking trails and a bike path make for the ideal all-season getaway. LIVING AREA Recline on contemporary furniture in the open-concept living room. This welcoming space also has a smart TV. KITCHEN & DINING The well-equipped kitchen has plenty of cookware and helpful gadgets. A full suite of appliances includes a gas range. Four can share coffee at the kitchen island. Gather in the six-person dining area and share festive meals. BED & BATH This two-story condo sleeps seven guests in three bedrooms. The primary suite is detailed with a California king bed and a Roku TV. A tub/shower combination rounds out the en-suite bathroom. Sleep soundly on a queen bed in the guest room. The third bedroom includes a twin-over-full bunk bed, along with a twin trundle. There are two guest bathrooms: one has a tub/shower combination, while the other features a walk-in shower. OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES Unwind with after-dinner drinks beneath the stars on your private deck; this fenced space has a table for six. The seasonal complex amenities are a short walk from your door. Swim in two sparkling pools, or play a lively match on the tennis courts. There's also a basketball court. EXTRA PERKS & MORE DETAILS Extra perks include complimentary Wi-Fi, games, and a washer/dryer. Beach chairs are provided. Reserved parking is available for two cars in front of the rental. The outdoor furniture may be stored and unavailable during the winter months. This location is not suitable for parties. Fines can be issued for excessive noise, parking, over-occupancy, and trash. Placer County Permit: STR20-71077 Outdoor wood-burning fires and charcoal grills are prohibited per local ordinances. Gas grills and barbeque grills are also prohibited. While there is a gas grill on the deck, it has been disabled and its use is prohibited under local short-term rental regulations. LOCATION It's a 12-minute walk to beautiful Lake Forest Beach, and the bike path to downtown Tahoe City (2.5 miles) is just up the road. Hikers can explore 2,000 acres of forest at Burton Creek State Park (1 mile). Tahoe Cross-Country Ski Area is 1 mile from home, and Squaw Valley Resort beckons in 9.5 miles.

The property, including the condo, HOA pools and other amenities, were all well maintained and were perfect for our extended family (two parents, two grandparents, and one toddler). The appliances all appeared to be fairly new and were in good working order. The beds were comfortable. Note that the bed in the primary suite is on a rather high platform, which might not work for everyone, but was fine for us. The property is in a very quiet, pleasant area within walking distance to both Lake Forest Beach and Skylandia State Park and Beach. We enjoyed our stay very much!

The rental was very much like the pictures -- no false advertising here! Nothing overly fancy -- if that's what you are looking for -- but definitely a nice place to stay while in Tahoe. There was enough space for 3 adults to spread out, but also to "hang out" together and chat. The location was close to Tahoe City, so was a convenient location for getting groceries, restaurants/bars, and doing activities. We all agreed that we would happily stay here again!
