August 2026

We LOVED this house! Our family PLUS our extended family has been coming to Black Butte together for 15 years, and everyone agreed this was the best house we’ve stayed in yet.The layout is absolutely perfect for a larger family or group, with plenty of space to spread out while still having great areas to gather. The location is fantastic — easy access through the fields to the Lakeside Pool, plus great bike trails to the Glaze Meadow Pool, store, etc. The large deck was a favorite and was perfect for outdoor meals, entertaining, morning coffee, and just hanging out together. The AC was also a huge plus, especially because we were there when it was 80 degrees. The house is beautifully decorated, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, and we had everything we needed to cook large meals for our whole group. We brought our own bikes, but there were plenty of bikes at the house that we could have used. It’s truly a wonderful spot to relax, reconnect, and enjoy everything Black Butte has to offer. We will absolutely be booking this house again next year!

Avari response:

Thank you, Leslie, for sharing your wonderful experience with us! We’re thrilled to hear that you and your extended family found the house to be the best one yet after 15 years of visits to Black Butte. It’s fantastic that the layout worked so well for your group, allowing everyone to enjoy both private moments and shared gatherings.

We’re glad you loved the location and the easy access to the pools and bike trails. It sounds like the large deck was the perfect spot for your outdoor meals and morning coffee, and we’re happy to hear the AC kept you comfortable during your stay.

Knowing that you found the house beautifully decorated and well-stocked for your cooking needs warms our hearts. We strive to create a space where families can relax and reconnect, and it’s wonderful to hear that you felt that during your time here.

We can’t wait to welcome you back next year!

Great house and layout. Really great outside deck. Good location. Some minor things need to be fixed so housekeeping/maintenance could be better. Bikes had flat tires and no tire pump. Most bikes too big or too small. Mostly men/boys bikes.

We were able to enjoy the house so spacious we had a nice time

It was very spacious nice concept very comfortable.

Upon arriving there was a lot animal droppings right in front of the house filled doggie bags left behind and animal droppings inside the house and garbage bags left from previous renters by the garage that ended up being ripped from some animal that was scattered.

For our family of 6 adults and four young kids it was a perfect layout. Four king beds are difficult to find, and they were super comfortable. If you are looking for pet friendly AND 4 Kings I would recommend this house. The house has been updated some, you would need to be okay with a very outdated kitchen and baths. There is a challenging staircase, but we were able to mange, just blocking it off from the littles. The location was nice right across from the meadow.
