With some work on the house, it could be so cute but right now it is not worth the money. I wouldn’t stay there again ri

I like the location. It was a quaint little house. It just really needs some updating

It was not clean. The baseboard heating was scary. Most of the plug-ins didn’t work because the plugs didn’t stay in the holes, which is a fire hazard the sliding glass door it takes a very strong man to move it cause it comes off the track. The windows in the bedrooms do not open. The only ones that open are the crank window in the bathroom and in the stairwell. The towels also smelled like pee and dog, and the bedding had stains on the comforters. The Internet was horrific. We couldn’t use the Wi-Fi because it was slower than not using Wi-Fi at all. We had one bar and it was faster than the Wi-Fi. The rocks outside by the carport I had a friend twist her ankle and fall because of them because they were so close to where the cars are parked so that’s a bad trip hazard. She’s now sitting with her foot up and ice on it. There’s also exposed wiring on the outside on the deck.

Clean home with an ocean view. Has all of the amenities for a light meal prep, close to the main drag where you can grab a meal, coffee, shop. Home itself is on the older side and could use updating. Communication with the management is easy with quick response time. Had a slow drain in the bathroom, which they offered to fix while we were there, but we managed to get around it. Overall a good stay in Manzanita.

A great spot, slightly funky

The location was excellent. We liked the setting of the place, its relation to "town" (about 3 blocks N of the main street), the short distance to the beach. It was great that our dog was welcome there.

A number of things seemed funky, poorly maintained or poorly installed. Eg, the drain plug in the bathroom sink was inoperable, and the drain was very slow; extra slats for the blinds for the sliding doors were just stuck in a corner; the sliding doors were hard to slide; the screens and windows were quite dirty; art in the bedroom was faded and unrecognizable. These were disheartening - with a little care, the place could be much improved.

An information card with WiFi connection info and when and how to check out instead of having to contact the rental company would have been convenient. There was a clogged drain in the bathroom, but not a huge inconvenience.
