Overview

Tucked away in a woodland setting with forest views from every window, this inviting Oregon Coast home is classic in every sense. As you immerse yourself in a grove of old growth sitka spruce with warm wood paneling from top to bottom, you'll feel your cares immediately drift away.

This multi-level home sits just west of the Oregon Coast Highway, within walking distance from the Neah-Kah-Nie Mountain South Trailhead and a two-minute drive into the town of Manzanita. As you enter on the second floor, you'll be greeted by natural wood adorning the walls and lofty ceilings, as well as a row of windows framing the woods outside. Take your pick of generous seating (including a built-in sofa, a window seat, and two additional couches) by the flatscreen TV.

Just around the corner are a well-appointed kitchen (with double ovens) and a dining table by the window. In the mornings, you can brew your coffee and bring it outside to the deck, so immersed in the trees that it was built around the trunk of an evergreen. In the evenings, retreat downstairs to the lounge, where a pool table, another TV, and a second kitchen await.

When it's time to turn in, you'll find four bedrooms split evenly between the two floors, each with its own accompanying full bathroom.

In the heart of the Northern Oregon Coast, you are just minutes from surfing, beachcombing, hiking, kayaking, crabbing, fishing, shopping, and dining.

This was a magical start to our vacation! The peaceful surroundings were perfect for relaxing. We particularly enjoyed to close proximity to so much fantastic hiking and beach locations. We did devils cauldron and short sand beach on our first day and enjoyed Arcadia beach on our second day. The fact that those were a mere 10 minutes away meant we didn’t feel like any of our time was wasted driving around. And even the short driving was surrounded by beauty. The house itself was perfect for our family. Our young kids loved the various toys that were present and the adults loved the many personal touches of decoration, especially the mosaic VanGogh. If we find ourselves back in the Oregon coast we would love to stay here again!

Beautiful quintessential Oregon coast home. Lots of wood, retro details, home made art and incredible views. The house is well stocked, and was very comfortable for our group of 7. The carpet downstairs would benefit from a replacement.

Felt like we were in a tree. Loved that all four bedrooms had a bathroom (attached or right next to) Tge pool table was really fun and the living room was a roomy hangout for all.

This was the perfect getaway for a group of 8 adults for each couple to have their own bathroom. The two kitchens actually came in very handy. The surrounding area is so peaceful. There is a path 20-25 minutes walking to the beach. It’s close to both cannon beach and Manzanita. The pool table was super fun and they have all kinds of games, tvs and movies. Highly recommend!
