Updated home with fireplace & media room - 2 blocks to the beach & promenade

We had a wonderful stay at this home! The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had every accommodation we could have needed — and more. Everything exceeded our expectations, from the comfortable beds to the thoughtful touches throughout the home. The host was responsive and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway.

There weren't any instructions about the expectations of our departure as far as what to do with towels and bedding so, we just put towels in laundry room and didn't remove bedding. Also, we couldn't figure out how to work the front room fire place. Upon arrival, we were unable to ge the key pad to work and had to call someone who instructed us to find a key. Otherwise, the house was lovely and had plenty of blankets and towels and such. I did have to wipe the backs of the dining room chairs but other than that, the house was in great shape. The walk to the beach was easy and short and the home was a great place to rent. I would definitely stay here again.

Top Perks: house was very clean, kitchen well stocked and we appreciated there was a blender when we forgot one! Mattresses were great

Drawbacks:
1 - Teflon pan set was quite old and was HEAVILY scratched. If you like to cook, I’d recommend bringing your own pans (until these get replaced with stainless steel or enameled /cast iron options for sauteeing)

2 - sheets, at least in master, were quite old and pilly and abrasive and need to be replaced

My whole family was happy I pick a cherry. House with very comfy interior, lovely decorations and nice surprise in remodeled entertainment room. Who needs a garage, right? All that is situated on quiet street, just a short walk from ocean waves. Near, yet far enough, from hassle and bustle of center of the promenade...lol. Half of our stay, of three nights, was rainy and windy, so we mixed walking with watching TV. Heck, that big screen TV was without exaggerating, like going to cinema, without stepping out of the house. By preparing our meals, we did find out, how fully equipped the kitchen was, Extra appreciation for the owner touch. Sleeping in the master bedroom, with open window just a crack, allow for hearing the deep, base sound of the surf. Total bliss, like as welcomed lullaby, to sink our tired bodies to sleep , after day activities outside. It was partially due to our attempt to hike the nearest coastal peak, named after guy, with german name.... lol. Like to think, he would made it to the other side. The steep path ending on Cannon Beach side. It was winding up and up. Hiking on wet stones and tree roots, was very challenging and we give up short of the peak itself, in just enough time to have some juice in our self's, and go slowly back down, not to end in ER.
I can't forget to mention how fully was in owners mind to pay extra attention for toiletries and personal care products assortment in every bathroom. Plenty of soaps, body washes, shampoos, all from a natural sounding brand. It is not a norm in any other rentals we experienced throughout the years. So, to be so generous and thoughtful for his guest delight, is enchanting. We were for sure.
We would like to return in better weather conditions, perhaps in summer. Because this lovely house, is truly delight on the north coast of Oregon.
