Lakefront Living with a Private Deep Water Dock

Welcome to Pine and Powder Retreat, a light-filled South Lake Tahoe getaway where the water is your backyard. With lakefront access and a private deep water dock, you can step out of the house and onto your own slice of Tahoe. Park the boat or tie up the kayaks, then settle in on the lakeside patio or the upper deck. The deck has a Weber grill and sweeping views of the water, tall pines, and the Sierra peaks beyond. Mornings begin with sunlight pouring through the windows, and fall evenings glow with golden aspens along the shoreline.

Inside, vaulted ceilings of warm wood planking and dark exposed beams give the main living area an open, cabin-meets-lake-house feel. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the water from the cozy sectional, and a stone river-rock fireplace anchors the room for snowy nights. The fully stocked kitchen is ready for group meals, with a granite island, bar stools, and even a fondue pot for après-ski cheese and chocolate. The adjoining dining nook sits in a bay of windows, so every meal comes with a lake view. A grand entry with a star-shaped pendant light, slate tile, and arched windows sets the tone as you arrive.

The retreat sleeps six across three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The primary suite has a king bed, a walk-in closet, and an en suite bath with a jetted tub and a separate shower, perfect for soaking after a day on the slopes or the water. The second bedroom has two twin beds and is a natural fit for kids. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and its own view of the lake. The home is also set up for families. A game room with a foosball table, board games, children’s books, and toys keeps little ones busy, and a bathtub makes bath time easy. As part of the Tahoe Keys community, you’ll also have access to a variety of resort-style amenities for an additional fee, including a shared hot tub and swimming pool, tennis courts, and dock access. Two parking spaces are included, and an EV charger is available for electric vehicles.

Tahoe’s best adventures are close by. In winter, Heavenly Mountain Resort is a short drive away, with skiing, snowboarding, and the scenic gondola. Come summer, spend the day on Pope Beach, Baldwin Beach, or Kiva Beach, and walk the Taylor Creek Visitor Center trails along the lake. Rent paddleboards, take a boat out to Emerald Bay, or tour the historic Tallac Estate and Vikingsholm. Camp Richardson, Fallen Leaf Lake, and Echo Lakes are great for hiking, biking, and picnics. Heavenly Village and the Stateline casinos offer dining, shopping, and nightlife, and Lakeview Commons is a good spot for a sunset stroll. Whether you come for powder or paddling, Pine and Powder Retreat is a comfortable, memorable base for your Tahoe stay.

Tahoe is home to many animals. You may experience bears, raccoons, mice, ants, spiders, and other animals. Meadows are home to many rodents. When these areas are filled with water or snow, these animals move to homes in the area. You may experience these animals in or near your home.

neighborhoods outside of the Tourist Core. We believe that you, your family, and
friends can have an amazing vacation while still being respectful and
considerate to the neighbors around you.

City of South Lake Tahoe Short Term Rental Ordinances

a. The maximum occupancy of this property at all times, 24 hours a day,
is 6 persons. Up to 4 children aged 13 and under do not count
towards this occupancy limit.
b. Weddings, receptions, and commercial events are prohibited.
c. No use of outdoor spas or hot tubs is allowed after 10pm or before
8am.
d. No outdoor amplified music, speakers, or other noise-generating
equipment is allowed after 10pm or before 8am.
e. Parking is prohibited on unpaved surfaces or on neighboring private
property without permission. Parking is allowed only on paved
Surfaces. Only 2 vehicles allowed.
f. Parking of commercial vehicles on the property is prohibited, except
temporarily for durations of less than 4 hours.
g. Camping and sleeping in tents, travel trailers, campers, or
recreational vehicles is prohibited at the property.
h. Trash and recycling shall not be left or stored outside except in a
container (trash can) within a bear box or in an animal-resistant cart
provided for use by South Tahoe Refuse.
i. ☐ Bear box: All trash shall be stored in the dumpster located at the property located in the parking lot. ☐ No bear box: Trash and recycling shall
not be brought out to the curb before 6:00am on trash day, and shall
be removed from the curb no later than 6:00pm on trash day.

Violations of any of these conditions of operation are subject to
citations and fines starting at $1,500 per violation may be issued to both occupant
and to the property owner.
