Overall a good place to stay. Wasn’t informed on the $50 parking pass you have to purchase but not gonna break the bank.

Very nice central location.

We like that it had two king beds and a bathroom off each suite, making it ideal for two couple. Most only have one en suite so this is ideal for traveling companions. It was centrally located. Very clean with updates.

1. The light from outside shines into the bedroom, even though there is a wooden shutter. We had to put a towel across the window to keep out some of the light which only partially helped.
2. The ice machine didn’t work.
3. Something was wrong with the shower faucet in the second bedroom en-suite because it would make a horrendous noise at times like it was vibrating against the wall.

The room was clean, the AC worked wonderfully, elevators were fast, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The beach chair rentals were not what we expected as you couldn’t lay on your stomach, but Reed was awesome getting us set up every day. The only two problems we had was the fact there wasn’t a hair dryer and the blanket/comforter on the bed was very thin. We had to buy both for our stay. We would come back to San Carlos! The staff there were great to work with.

Amazing location. The beach was well groomed and staffed. Easy to walk to food and activities. We rented e-bikes and easily rode to the state park trails. Everything you need for a great beach stay. We enjoyed it all - except the pillows. Might want to bring your own if you can.
