The unit looked very nice at first sight, but over the course of our 4 day stay, we discovered some unpleasant things. For one, the bathrooms were beautiful, but highly impractical. The tub in the hallway bath was a hard rectangular shape, there was no way to stop the drain, and it was the only thing anywhere close to a bathtub in the unit. Add to that that the floor of the tub was smooth stone (so NOT kid or elderly friendly, as one could easily slip and bust their head clean open), so forget about taking a ā€œbathā€ while you’re there. The other bathing option was in the master bathroom. It was a gorgeous LOOKING shower, but an incredibly impractical means of cleaning oneself. The shower had no door or curtain, it was just completely open, and there was no way to prevent water from getting all over the place every time you took a shower. The bed spread in the master bedroom was also comparable to a table cloth-a NICE tablecloth, but a tablecloth nonetheless-as it was on the verge of being paper thin. Had it not had a blanket seam on it, I’d have fully believed that it WAS, in fact, a tablecloth. The kitchen contained no trace of sugar, butter, or even salt and pepper. The sugar and butter was understandable, but salt and pepper? Really? Salt and pepper doesn’t exactly spoil, and it costs very little, and it’s one of those things that you don’t expect to be that important until you actually need it and realize you have none. It just felt very much like the owners were going to extremes to ā€œsave a buckā€, even to the point of withholding something as basic as S&P, which we then had to go out and buy. Not that it broke the bank or anything, but now we have these extra S&P shakers that will go unused, I guess until next year when we go on vacation again. It just seemed highly unnecessary. The patio furniture was also disappointing, as it, too, LOOKED fantastic until we tried to actually use it. All of it was incredibly uncomfortable, to the point where we just stood if we went out there, as it was more comfortable than any of the seating options that were available. Also the Wi-Fi network provided to us by the owners was not on the list of networks when we tried to connect to the Wi-Fi. We quickly realized that there was a network available that resembled the network they’d put down on our paperwork, but it was spelled differently. We put two and two together and figured out that they must have meant ā€œxā€ but spelled it like ā€œyā€. Not the biggest deal but still something they should probably fix. Overall it was decent and it was pretty nice and there was nothing major to complain about, which is why I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars. I personally would have liked to have known about the things I mentioned here, prior to booking the room, as it would have likely influenced me to choose a different option.

This place was exactly what was in the pictures. It was nice that one of the three outdoor pools was heated for a cooler day. The snack shack was a great place for a quick snack or drink while on the beach. The location was an easy ride to anything we wanted to visit.
