Perched on a nearly private stretch of Gulf beach in a gated community, the home delights groups with spacious bedrooms (many en‑suite), expansive gathering areas, multiple kitchens, and washer/dryers on separate levels. Guests praise the well‑stocked kitchen, ice maker, balcony views, easy beach and pool access, and overall cleanliness. Hosts are generally responsive when issues arise, and the convenient location near shops and restaurants makes it ideal for large family vacations.

The house was not our first choice originally. We were informed about 6 weeks before our stay that our rental that we had paid half on, was no longer available. Much frustration since we had such a large family coming from three different states. We reluctantly chose Lund. The home is in a gated community directly on the beach. The view and location were superb! This house has 3 levels and stairs to enter the house. This was very challenging for our 80 year old mother, thus not a house we would have originally selected. The house was clean and very spacious. The kitchen was stocked with lots of dishes and pans that we used. We had an issue with one of the dryers but someone came to check on it for us. Two sets of washer/dryers were a plus. Each of the 7 bathrooms had plenty of towels and toliet paper for our 4 night stay. Make sure to bring more paper towels and dishwasher detergent though. The beds were comfortable. The beach access was easy.

The property is very spacious and all ten members of our family enjoyed it. Beach access is good. There were no beach chairs. Very spacious with three levels and lots of steps.

Enjoyed the place. The walk to the beach was short and convenient. The facilities around the property were nice and convenient. The house was nice and fit well for our families it was great to not have to share bathrooms. Everything you needed was in the kitchen. Really enjoyed the under-counter ice makers. Only thing I wished was the stereo system worked and that the doors operated a little better (I understand people can be pretty rough). Would stay here again!

Great things: 1. Size of house for large families 2. Location accessibility to so many things in Orange Beach 3.Llocation on the beach: not surrounded by condos and lots of privacy 4. very clean upon arrival Not so good things: 1. One of the two primary bedrooms has a completely obscured huge window because its clouded, probably with a bad seal. 2. Lower-level floor sliding glass door does not lock, just a wood piece keeps it closed. 3. Boards on boardwalk to beach and on main floor balcony are showing significant wear and will become a hazard pretty soon. 4. No Kitchen towels which is crazy considering how many folks are in that house, sometimes for a week. 5. Some of the slats on outdoor deck chairs are degrading and just painful as they become spikey. They could also injure someone. 6. The east pool was filthy. We skimmed it ourselves but that didn't help too much. I was told by those using the west pool that it was also dirty. The pool is a primary amenity for families with kids (we had 3 with us) and a significant loss when not available. I reported this and nothing was done. 7. The two side chairs in the main room are frankly just weird. The cushions on them do not fit properly. They extend over the base of the sitting surface. A small person sitting at the tip of the chair can just fall off. This can cause injury, too.

The house was great for the 20 people we had (mostly children). Kitchen was well stocked. The ice maker was a huge help for small ice chests on the beach. The rear balcony was very nice to relax on. The living area was large but not set up well for such a large group. Dining tables were old and wobbly and could use some updating.
