Our party of 9, plus baby and small dog stayed for 5 days in July.
Positives:
- large comfortable space, especially the living room, deck and kitchen;
- Both suites have nice bathrooms, although one of the toilets was non-functional;
- Short walk to trailheads;
- About a mile walk to lake beach;
- Hot tub;
- Well stocked kitchen (utensils and appliances);
- Garage (can fit two sedans tightly, SUVs - just 1).

Negatives:
- We were greeted by a heavily stained carpet, with multiple large stains throughout both floors. We took our shoes off at the entrance, only to get our feet and socks dirty;
- There were multiple broken items that we had to temporarily fix - a very loose kitchen faucet, dishwasher lower rack missing wheels, and upstairs suite toilet with broken flapper.

The cabin has great potential. We complained to the management company and they provided a small refund. I suggested that they replace their maintenance company.

The home was beautiful and the layout was perfect for our large group! Being animal friendly was a huge plus! One thing to warn tourists of is the bears in Tahoe, there are bear box trash cans, but please remember to lock your car doors. I knew better as I don't live far from Tahoe, but I forgot to lock mine and woke up the first morning to all of my car doors open. Besides that the stay was fantastic! The home comes with everything you might need for your stay and the host was very helpful with anything else we may have needed. If I could give this place 100 stars I would!
