THINGS TO KNOW City of South Lake Tahoe Short Term Rental Ordinances Violation of ordinances can result in fines up to $1500: a. The maximum occupancy of this property at all times, 24 hours a day, is 8 persons. Up to 2 children aged 13 and under do not count towards this occupancy limit. b. Weddings, receptions, and commercial events are prohibited. c. No use of outdoor spas or hot tubs is allowed after 10pm or before 8am. d. No outdoor amplified music, speakers, or other noise-generating equipment is allowed after 10pm or before 8am. e. Parking is prohibited on unpaved surfaces or on neighboring private property without permission. Parking is allowed only on paved surfaces. f. Parking of commercial vehicles on the property is prohibited, except temporarily for durations of less than 4 hours. g. Camping and sleeping in tents, travel trailers, campers, or recreational vehicles is prohibited at the property. h. Trash and recycling shall not be left or stored outside except in a container (trash can) within a bear box or in an animal-resistant cart provided for use by South Tahoe Refuse.

Everything was great, easy access great location. The house has all the amenities. Only thing is just automated responses when I reach out. Other than that, that’s it would stay here 10 times over.

We had an amazing time in South Lake Tahoe. There were easy and clear instructions to get inside. We were able to check in a little early. The lighting in the house was a bit confusing at first, towels seemed like they needed a bit more time to dry. The mattress for the bunk beds weren’t very comfortable and we had to rewash the dishes by hand because they weren’t the cleanest, and the fence in the backyard was down. Other than that we had a great time, and we felt right at home. The host did a great job to get back with us in a timely manner and it’s a great location.
