What's nearby: Take a walk across the street to the waves of the Gulf of Mexico. The house is located less than six miles from the Dauphin Island Sea Lab and historic Fort Gaines. The island also features a golf course and a bird sanctuary. For the adventurous, there are plenty of options to rent personal watercraft or charter a local fishing trip. The island also features boutique shopping and when you’re feeling hungry, there are plenty of local restaurants! It’s a short ferry ride to Gulf Shores too.

Perched between Gulf and bay, Two Views delights with sweeping water vistas, a wraparound porch and direct beach and bay access ideal for families (and pets). The home was great! Very comfortable couches & patio furniture. Kkitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Bring your own pillow due to the pillows there being flat. Rh err is not a bath tub so keep that in mind if bringing littles. The view of the Sound is beautiful. Our kids enjoyed playing in the calm waters. There are lots of beach toys & beach chairs available for use. One of the pictures on the listing shows a porch swing hanging under the house & facing the water. That was not there & we were disappointed about that. The description is slightly misleading when it mentions accessing the Gulf. It is directly across the street but there are homes all along the road & you are not able to access the beach. West End beach is a short drive w/a $10 parking fee. It was beautiful there but I thought we’d be able to just cross the street to have beach days. Overall, great stay just recommend updating the description to be more accurate for guests.
