Things to Know
Guests staying at a South Lake Tahoe rental must adhere to all City Ordinances. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 9 a.m. In addition, no open flames, no smoking, and parking permits apply. Maximum occupancy cannot be exceeded under any circumstance. Fines of up to $2000 will be imposed by The City of South Lake Tahoe, without warning, for any violations.

The unit was clean, well furnished, and came stocked with plenty of amenities from toiletries to extra towels. A great option for larger families who are over the limit for traditional hotel rooms. The check in process was seamless and well communicated. It’s so nice to be able to just waltz into your room after a long drive.

Minus a star for a few issues: there is a very strong dog scent throughout the house, but especially downstairs, which really did a number on my allergies and asthma. A good lesson for me that a no pets allowed rental doesn’t mean a pet dander free space! There is central heat but downstairs where the sleeping rooms are is COLD, my kids slept in extra layers. The bed in the primary room seems like the box spring might be broken. Also, a full listing of on-site amenities could be helpful, we didn’t realize there was a lakeside snack shack, equipment rentals right on the beach, etc.
Aside from those issues, we had a fantastic time enjoying the uncrowded beach, pool, large hot tub, bear sightings, fire pits for smores, and spacious unit. We’d definitely visit Lakeland Village again but will be more careful to ask questions about the unit itself.

I stayed at this very well appointed townhome this past weekend and had a GREAT experience! The home was spotless and perfectly set up for us. The furnishings were cozy and thoughtful and the location is fantastic! Vacasa handled things so seamlessly and we had an amazing time. Lakeland has a ton of great amenities and we enjoyed every moment of our time here. 10/10 would recommend!!
